Fotografisao je predstavnike jedinstvenih kultura i rezultat je magičan

Fotograf Džimi Nelson pre nekoliko godina lansirao je knjigu “Before They Pass Away”, u kojoj je objavio fotografije 30 plemena koja nestaju širom sveta.

Od Mongolije do Indonezije, proveo je nedelje sa svakim plemenom, kako bi naučio o njihovoj kulturu i ovekovečio je kamerom.

Sada je objavio i svoj drugi veliki projekat, koji je nazvao “Homage to Humanity”.

Obišao je pet kontinenata i posetio 34 autohtona naroda, a ponovo je sreo i neke sa svog prethodnog putovanja.

Prva njegova knjiga bila je kolekcija fotografija, a ovog puta rešio je da proširi sadržaj i dnevnicima sa putovanja, mapama, činjenicama o ovim mestima, kao i intervjuima sa predstavnicima ovih kultura, te je tako skrenuo fokus priče sa onoga što fotografiše na samo putovanje.

– Sa 17 godina krenuo sam na putovanje na kom sam i danas – priča Nelson i dodaje:
– Sve se vrti oko rekonektovanja i pronalaska sebe. Ovo je veoma lično putovanje, put kojim želim da osećam, preživim i budem živ.
